FXBG eBike Tours is proud to offer our electric bikes to those like-minded, eco-friendly folks. Great activity for family and your out-of-town guests or just for something for you to do. Like to explore the Riverfront City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County on your own or want to extend the amount of time with our electric bikes, we do a limited number of rentals or “self-guided” tours each day.
If you have family in town, rent some eBikes to show them around, just be aware these bikes are not permitted on the trails in the City of Fredericksburg, they must be keep on the street.
12 hour notice are required for rentals and can be booked online here:

Are you staying in one of the downtown Airbnbs, BnB or hotel? Rent a comfortable and easy-to-ride electric bicycle from FXBG eBikes! Our bike rentals give you the flexibility to see this Port Town at your own pace and the electric pedal-assist option on our bikes lets you ride uphill with ease! As locals and fans of our own great city, we’re happy to give you recommendations for things to do, places to explore, and even some meadery and breweries to stop in to get a taste of Fredericksburg.
FXBG eBike Club Membership
Join our FXBG eBike Club and have access to our ebikes at reduced rates. Great way to enjoy historical sites, and nature on both sides of the Rappahannock River.
Take a guest, rent ebikes at reduced rate for your family and friends visiting the area. eBike availability is based on first come first service basis.
What is included in the membership?
- Demonstration and instruction on use of ebike.
- Instruction on street laws and review of City, County and state rules on where you can ride the eBike.
- Members will receive a 20% discount on guided tours for family members and friends.
- Members will receive a 40% discount on rentals.

- Access to safety equipment, reflective vests, helmets, flags, and locks.
- eBikes available on first come, first serve basis, by reservation. Members must book online.
- Ability to rent eBikes for out of town trips. To approved areas or events.

The is a low step-through electric bike, which means it’s easy to mount and comfortable to ride! With both pedal assist and throttle power, it will help you up those hills and with its wide tires can go off-road! The best thing about this bike is you can choose how much pedal assistance you’d like, so you can get a workout or relax and let the motor do the work for you.

Participation Requirements
Participation Requirements
- The age to rent an electric bikes is 18 years old.
- A driver’s license is not required to ride an electric bike.
- Our suggested minimum height is 5 feet tall to operate your own eBike.
- The weight limit for the eBike is 275 lbs.
- While no experience riding an electric bike necessary, guests must be able to confidently ride a standard bike and be able to push a 60 lbs. eBike, if necessary. If it has been a while since you’ve been on a eBike, we highly recommend you practice, even just once, before you pick up your rental.

If the weather is questionable, the tour guide will contact you at least 1 hour before the tour to discuss your options.
We will still ride in light rain, but for your safety and enjoyment, we do not ride in heavy rain, thunderstorms or snow. In the case of a tour being canceled due to weather, we are happy to offer a 100% refund or exchange your booking for another day.
